Upland Bird Hunting Weekend Set for August 16th & 17th in Denver - Jul. 09, 2008
DENVER, CO - Colorado and Wyoming Pheasants Forever (PF) and Quail Forever (QF) chapters are partnering with Bass Pro Shops to host the First Annual Upland Bird Hunting Weekend on August 16th and 17th at the Bass Pro Shops store in Denver. Public demonstrations and informative seminars on upland hunting and habitat will be held throughout both days.

Dry Lake Pheasants Forever Chapter Seeks to Combat CRP Loss in North Dakota - Jul. 08, 2008
ASHLEY, ND - Greater McIntosh County area conservationists have formed North Dakota's newest Pheasants Forever (PF) chapter, the Dry Lake Chapter of PF. The chapter will focus on wildlife habitat improvement and act as a proponent of the federal Conservation Reserve Program (CRP).

Secretary of Interior Reappoints PF/QF's Nomsen to Wetlands Post - Jul. 01, 2008
Dave Nomsen, Pheasants Forever (PF) and Quail Forever (QF) Vice President of Government Affairs, has been reappointed to the North American Wetlands Conservation Council. Dirk Kempthorne, Secretary of the U.S. Department of the Interior, made the three-year appointment. Nomsen has served as a member on the Council since 1999. His new appointed term will run through March of 2011.

Pheasants Forever Opposes Early Outs to CRP - Jul. 01, 2008
As the coalition of America’s leading conservation organizations, we write to ask that you maintain the great value of the Conservation Reserve Program (CRP) to fish and wildlife conservation, local economies and sportsmen/-women. In light of recent calls to allow eligible CRP contract holders the opportunity to exit the program early and without the contractual reimbursement of the taxpayer dollars invested in their land, we reiterate the program’s importance and ask again that you not grant these requests.

Washington Electricians Create Union Tradesman Chapter of Pheasants Forever - Jun. 19, 2008

The new chapter, named the Union Tradesman Chapter of PF, is comprised of a group of electricians who want to conserve and enhance wildlife habitat in Washington state.
